The Big Blue Filtration System gets installed on the main water line leading towards the house after the pressure reducing valve to ensure that all incoming water to the house are filtered.

Replacement Filters for a basic Big Blue Filter System

Stage 1 – 5 micron Sediment Filter (20Inch BB Sediment Filter) – Recommended Filter Change – Every 3-6 Months

The Sediment Filter removes visible particles such as rust, mud,dirt and any other floating particles from the water.

Stage 2 – Carbon Block Filter (20Inch BB CTO Filter) – Recommended Filter Change – Every 3-6 Months

The Carbon Block filter is the next in line defense for any chlorine of organic molecules which might have got through from the 2nd stage. It also has a 5 micron filter ability to catch and carbon that might have broken off the 2nd stage.

Stage 3 – 1 micron Sediment Filter (20Inch BB Sediment Filter) – Recommended Filter Change – Every 3-6 Months

Stage 3 – Siliphos

Siliphos is an economical and reliable water treatment system for portable en industrial water. It consists of a glass-like polyphosphate silicate spheres and dispenser. Siliphos prevents scale and stops corrosion. As a rule of thumb one can say that 1mm of scale on the heating coils of a boiler, increase the energy cost by 15%. Siliphos forms a thin protective layer on the inside of pipes and metal parts. The film or layer is microscopic in thickness and will not build-up with time. All components used in Siliphos are 100% pure food grade materials and comply with FAO/WHO standards.
